Competence approach in education from the point of view of market economy

In the article consider the use of the competence-based approach in education from the point of view of a market economy. In the modern world the labor market is undergoing continuous changes, so employers and applicants are engaged in self-education and improvement of their skills, quality improvement of their personal and professional competences. Market relations require competitive participants: - companies and workers. Accordingly, graduates should be competitive. To cope with this task are designed such training methods that are implemented using a competence-based approach. These are problem, search, research, heuristic, design and other teaching methods that contribute to the development of the student’s personality, self-development, self-actualization, which is achieved in terms of the competence approach, which they master in their professional, general professional and general cultural competencies provided for by the education standarts.
