The article analyses the processes of informatization transforming the environment of professional activity of musicians. The author emphasizes the need for changes in the content of musical education connected with the use of digital educational resources and computer music technologies. The paper considers the peculiarities of the process. The author suggests a new educational program "Computer Music" based on the use of the modern computer music technologies.
