The Complex of Socio-Utopian Ideas of ‘Russian Cosmism’ and ‘Latinofuturism’ in the Literary Reflection of Russian and Mexican- American Poets of the 19th – 20th Centuries. Part 1

The article discusses the representation of “cosmic” consciousness and ideas of harmonious development of mankind in the works of Russian and Mexican-American poets of the 19th–20th centuries. The authors refer to the multidimensional movement in Russian philosophical thought of the second half of the 19th–20th centuries – Russian cosmism – and the set of ideas of Latinofuturism of the 20th century. The study of the socio-utopian ideas, which appear in the course of history and march of time in geographically distant territories and reflect in fiction, constitutes the novelty of the research. The purpose of the article is to identify common and specific features of the embodiment of socio-utopian ideas of Russian cosmism and Latinofuturism in the poetic works of 19th–20th centuries. The significance of the study is determined by the growing interest in modern society to the search for favorable scenarios for the Future on a planetary scale. The first part of the article examines the history of the subject and the current state of research devoted to Russian cosmism and Latinofuturism, identifies the features of the representation of “cosmic” consciousness and socio-utopian ideas in selected works of Russian poets of the 18th–19th centuries in order to compare to the poetic texts of the 20th century. The study distinguished key motifs and images of the poetic works by M.V. Lomonosov and F.I. Tyutchev, which demonstrate the manifestation of a special “cosmic” consciousness and anticipate the large-scale and global entry of philosophical ideas about the cultural and civilizational movement of mankind into the Future in the poetry of the 20th century.
