Compositional method of design. Principles of interpretation of artistic images of traditional culture and avantgarde on the basis of the binary formula of a method and object

The compositional method of design is based on interpretation of experience of two cultures: traditional and modern, the borders of which to a great extent correspond to the experience of avant garde at the beginning of XX th century. Development of this method bases is vital for training students in architecture design and art criticism. The article deals with some major principles of this method including «the Concept of The Three Orders», principle of Starting Functional Compositions, principle of a continuous rhythmic grid, principle of binarity of a method and object, principle of metaobject and principle of influence of space of model on actual object.
