Бесплатный доступ

The article provides a comparative analysis of the traditional theory of social mobility by P. Sorokin and the relatively new paradigm of mobility by J. Urry. An attempt is made to find common ground and integrate the two concepts into a single whole. Based on the works of famous philosophers and sociologists, the author also analyzes the changes in society from the time of P. Sorokin to the present day. There is an increasing complexity, the emergence of new forms of interaction within the social space, incl. a new form of social mobility, called fragmentary or pseudo mobility by the author. At the end of the work, the author emphasizes the importance and prospects of studying modern mechanisms of social mobility for a better understanding of many socio philosophical categories, for example, «justice», «honesty», «equality», etc., as well as solutions to many acute social problems associated with them.
