The concept of time in A.P. Chekhov's short story "In the cart" in the context of H. Bergson's philosophical ideas about time

This paper describes the peculiarities of the concept of time in the philosophy of the French thinker H. Bergson, and also analyzes its reflection in A. Chekhov‘s short story «In the Cart». The similarity of the principles of time representation in the philosopher Bergson‘s works and in Chekhov‘s artistic works is noted. Similarly to Bergson‘s philosophical framework, Chekhov‘s stories focus on time that forms semantic and emotional structures of works and guides the character‘s consciousness.
