Modern approaches to understanding communication as an interaction immersed in sociocultural conditions significantly change the traditional attitude towards the specifics of texts created within the framework of various institutional discourses. Any discourse generates a text - a specific material object that reflects the specifics of people's interaction when creating an information environment in a particular field of activity. In the paper we focus on migration discourse. Migration linguistics is being developed for more than 15 years in Europe and is new to Russia; it is deeply rooted in the history of linguistics in general. E. Hugenberger, a leading specialist in the field of migration linguistics, along with such German researchers as T. Krefeld and T. Stehl, draws attention to this fact. Migration processes are of particular importance for Europe. As for Russia, the issue of population migration has long acquired relevance. Thus, as far back as Vasily Osipovich Klyuchevsky pointed out, the history of Russia is the history of a country which is being colonised. This article analyses the acutalization of the concept of ZUWANDERUNG in the German migration discourse. The material is based on German corpus data as well as AntConc software, which allows to create one's own corpus.
