The article examines the nature and functions of conceptualization as a foundation of the methodological regulator of teacher’s actions aimed at the development of students’ spiritual and moral culture. It is shown that the methodological regulators in the form of methodological "set of rules and prohibitions" preset flexible vectors for development of concepts of students’ spiritual and moral culture. Ideas about methodological regulators are necessary for scientific substantiation of the modern theory and technology of designing of students’ spiritual and moral culture development.
