The article discusses the main conceptual provisions of professional development of artists of wide profile in higher education. On example of activities of the Academy of Painting and Fine Arts of S. Andriaka are described the stages of professional development and are defined the factors of pedagogical potential of professional development of students. With regard to modern changes in education and culture is presented a pedagogical strategy, which implements in practice the scientific concepts of art teaching of S. Andriaka.
