The conceptual foundation of creation of ethno-oriented textbooks of the Russian language as a foreign language: from the origins to the present

The issues of development of ethno-oriented textbooks of the Russian language as a foreign language are considered. There is given the introduction to the History of formation of this approach in the teaching methods of Russian language as a foreign language that was taken as the basis of the creation of textbooks and teaching guides, focused on the representatives of specific ethnic communities. The fundamental ways of realization of the ethno-oriented approach in modern textbooks are analyzed.
