Conceptual aspect of fashion discourse

The article deals with the conceptual aspect of fashion discourse. There is given the analysis of the conceptual branch of the concept allowing to conclude about the social and cultural nature of the studied concept. The core of the concept “fashion” is formed by such concepts as “tendency”, “modification” and “originality”. The key characteristics of the concept “fashion” are dualism, synchronicity, conventionality, normalization and hierarchy.
