Current Federal State Educational Standards have been revised in order to comply with the professional standards in relation to the similar scope of activity. The research analyzes the final objectives of teacher’s training that are stipulated in the educational standards for the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. Moreover, it discusses the opportunity to use them in order to implement the labor functions described in the corresponding professional standard. The data obtained demonstrate the high quality of the new educational standards and their better correlation with the teaching tasks faced by the academic staff at a university. The theoretical analysis and empirical research justify the differences in the aims of creation and content of the legal and regulatory documents, which have been developed as per decisions of the Bologna Process.
