Cosmetic orthopaedics: limb lengthening and correction

Anatomical aspects, as well as osteosynthesis technique and treatment tactics were considered in nine patients with deformities of their lower limbs and small height. Clinical-and-anatomical analysis was made, the similar anatomical features of leg structure were revealed. Taking into consideration the results of examination the complex of tactical and methodical techniques of osteosynthesis and of patient management has been developed and used in practice; the complex has allowed to fulfill physician's task completely.
