With the development of technologies and mass communications, media culture is becoming an important element of the educational process. The article examines current trends in the integration of media resources into the educational process, including the use of multimedia, social networks and methods of critical analysis of media messages. The author shares his practical experience of teaching journalism, videography and editing to schoolchildren through the use of literary works and cinematography, emphasizing the importance of developing visual thinking and a creative approach to education in a media culture.
