Characteristics of a victim of cyberbullying

The relevance of this topic is caused by the increase in crimes in the digital environment. At the same time, it is important to note that the science of criminology and law enforcement practice need to develop a methodology for the type of cases under investigation. Target. An attempt has been made to study the identity of the victim of cyberbullying as an element of the criminalistic characteristics of harassment using information and telecommunications networks in order to conduct an effective investigation. The article examines the structural elements of the personality of the victim of cyberbullying, the prerequisites for the formation of sacrificial behavior, which may subsequently be relevant to the criminalistic characteristics of the victim of the crime. Investigative actions have procedural and criminalistic grounds when searching for criminals and victims of cyberbullying, therefore, flexibility and/or behavioral opposition complicates the process of establishing the circumstances of a criminal event. While the manifestation of an alternative identity in real life is often considered a subject of psychiatric interest, in a virtual environment this is considered the norm and does not indicate a mental disorder.
