Examples of participatory culture method in teaching Arts History at higher school are discussed. Correlation between the concepts of participatory culture and interaction aesthetics is revealed. Application of the method in teaching Design Bachelors is demonstrated. The problem of perceptual unity and understanding the processes in modern art is paid attention to. Examples of realization of public art projects in participatory culture context are drawn. The technology of individual research in participatory culture method used in teaching higher school students is discussed.
