Culture in potential and actual existence

Бесплатный доступ

The study substantiates the proposition that culture is the formation of the potencies of natural world, the reflection of such attributes of matter as self-organization and self-development. At the same time, the existence of culture and its development is actualized in the process of human search for an ideal, as the result of active existence of a human as an ethical being in the context of culture created by him. The study analyzes the correlation between the processes of formation and existence of culture and the collective ideal, world view and moral beliefs of society and their change. It points out that the general vector of cultural development is the construction of more moral reality. Thus, the implementation of the Christian ideal in N. F. Fedorov’s interpretation (resurrection of all generations and giving them eternal life) is the goal of world culture in general. At least, it is a universal human goal, which humans will return to at every new level of development, trying to achieve it.
