The cultural intellect as the integral characteristics of the psychological component of the intercultural competence

The article deals with the results of the study of the cultural intellect of the students of Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University in the context of studying the issue of the development of the mechanism of the intercultural competence of the non-native speaker students. There is made the assumption that the insufficient level of mastering the linguistic, culturological and other components of the intercultural competence of the Russian teachers in cooperation with the non-native speaker children can be compensated by the development of the cultural intellect of the teachers.
