Курение выступает в качестве фактора риска развития заболеваний сердечно-сосудистой системы, рака легких. Наряду с этим, курение вызывает нарушения со стороны мукоцилиарного аппарата и иммунной системы, что может предраспологать к развитию активного туберкулеза легких. В статье рассматривается обзор литературных данных, изучающих связь между курением и туберкулезом легких.
