The quest as a form of practice-oriented additional education

The authors of the article consider the quest as a form of practice-oriented education in the system of additional education. They emphasize the need to use non-traditional forms of conducting classes that ensure the implementation of the principle of the connection of theory and practice with technical programs. The article describes in detail the process of conducting the quest for heat supply in practical classes on the topic “Experimental determination of the rated power of a heating device and its specifi c characteristics.” The technique of the quest with the game name “The enigma of the laboratory” Termograd “”. The purpose of the quest, a practice-oriented plot, the roles of participants in the quest, the game legend, the game problem of the quest, quest tasks are described. The authors identifi ed fi ve pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the quest: stimulating interest and desire of the student himself; correspondence of educational tasks to the individual capabilities of students; the presence of tasks of a problem nature; orientation of quest tasks to real interaction with objects, equipment, teaching aids; practice-oriented plot of the quest.
