Quest as a means of forming linguistic competencies in the Russian language learning in a secondary school

The article presents the results of a study devoted to the problems of using computer technologies in teaching the Russian language, in particular, the question of the didactic potential of the quest as a means of forming linguistic competencies in secondary school students. The relevance and novelty of the research topic is explained by several factors: in the methodology of teaching the Russian language there is no universally accepted definition of the concept of "quest", the educational and methodological complexes used in the school have settings for the use of game teaching methods, but educational quests are not mentioned, the Internet presents web-quests in various school subjects, but there are extremely few educational quests in the Russian language among them. The article reveals the content of the concept of "competency", considers options for interpreting the concept of "linguistic competency", identifies the personality traits of the student, reflecting the formation of his linguistic competencies (communicative, linguistic, cultural). Taking into account various points of view on the nature of the technology of the quest, the definition of the term quest is given as an integrated pedagogical technology that allows elements of design, research, case technology and role play, and contains a set of training and developmental tasks. The features of the application of quests in the lessons of the Russian language are described. The authors present educational quests on stylistics of the Russian language "Experts in stylistics" for students of the 8th and 9th forms, and quests on morphology "Journey to the Country of Pronouns" for the 6th form students of secondary school. The goals, objectives, structure of these quests, the methodology of working with them are characterized.
