Treatment of clavicular pseudoarthroses
Free access
The potentials of transosseous osteosynthesis in clavicular pseudoarthroses treatment expand when external fixators are used in combination with designs of intraosseous compression. Compression in the dock zone is produced both with an external fixator by graduated approach of external supports, and with traction by an intramedullary wire with stopper. Our experience shows the possibility of reducing the periods of clavicular pseudoarthroses healing when this fixator configuration is used.
