The article is connected with the understanding of the position of one of the influential modern North American philosopher writers Ayn Rand, who exerted a significant influence on the position of the US establishment, building its relations with countries and, in particular, with Russia, according to the standards of its controllable philosophy of libertarianism. It should be noted that libertarianism is becoming a noticeable starting point in the sociocultural dialogue practice of the Euro-Atlantic and their satellites. Thus, the leadership of Ukraine announced its libertarian commitment to its policy. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the new Russia, the illogical nature of building relations with the United States on the patterns of libertarianism. The article provides an excursion of a theoretical analysis of the nature of Ain Rand libertarianism, its initial positions associated with modern civilizational reality, with its contradictions and tendencies.
