Teacher's personality as a factor of the development of education and science (on the occasion of the ninetieth anniversary of B.S. Abalikhin)

The article deals with the directions of the academic career of the advanced PhD (History), professor Boris Sergeevich Abalikhin. There is defined his contribution in the development of the historical science and regional historical studies. The authors describe the establishment and development of the historical education in Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University.
