Limericks as one of the creative forms of the written speech at the lessons of the English language

The article emphasizes the issue of the use of the creative tasks for the development of the skills of the creative foreign language written speech. There is given the characteristics of the English limericks, there are revealed the peculiarities of the genre. The use of the limericks at the lessons of the English language increases the interest to the study of the foreign language, the tasks are becoming more informative and motivationally oriented.
