The article deals with the problem of linguistic maintenance and methodology support for teaching foreign students in Privolzhsky Research Medical University. The acquisition and development of communicative language competences in teaching foreign students in the English language used as an intermediary language are analyzed based on the results achieved by the Center for linguistic training of PRMU. The stages of multicomponent linguistic training and methodology support are considered in detail, the results of language competence monitoring are presented.
