The article deals with the linguodidactic potential of the project task in the process of the organization of the classroom and extracurricular activities in the process of studying the Russian language, considering the requirements of the Federal State Educational StandardS. There are presented the examples of the specific realization of the project task as one of the stages of the collective educational activity of the teacher and schoolchildren for the achievement of the subject and metasubject results of the education, the high level of the development of the required competencies by the Federal State Educational Standards and the universal learning skills.
