Statement of the problem. The search for an effective format for presenting knowledge about the linguistic culture of the studied language, and translation techniques for their translation into the target language on linguocognitive grounds prove the relevance of the research. The purpose of this study is to reveal the issues of interlanguage translation of national and regional culture-specific vocabulary in the frame dictionary entries of a new genre of learner’s frame dictionary for Anglophones, and to present analysis of their translation into English. A review of the scientific literature revealed extensive literature on frames, linguoculturemes, and translation strategies, while there are no comprehensive studies providing an extensive translation analysis of all possible translation strategies that could be applied to the translation of culture-specific vocabulary. In this regard, this study fills in the gaps in the scientific literature. The methodological basis of the research is based on the following scientific areas: linguocognitive, linguocultural and translation studies. The research results are revealed through the presentation of the frame dictionary entries, including national and regional culture-specific vocabulary and analysis of its translation. Conclusions. Structuring vocabulary in the form of frames in the frame dictionary entries creates a user-friendly interface for presenting vocabulary, and the selected translation strategies and techniques help preserve the national and regional flavor of lexemes.
