Lingvocultural category of politeness: interdisciplinary approach (on the material of English directive and instructive notices)

The interdisciplinary approach to lingvocultural category of politeness research is under consideration in the article. The approach explains some pragmatic and genre peculiarities in the category realization and sheds some light on the universal nature of the category of politeness in the global culture and its temporal qualitative changes.
