Concept СОВЕСТЬ/CONSCIENCE is discussed from a translator’s point of view, when the decision is made in the process of verbalizers’ translation in the texts of Russian and English-speaking cultures. Method of parallel corpora is used to determine a number of equivalents of the verbalizers of the concept under study, which play a part of translator’s support of intercultural concept matter transfer.
