Лучевая терапия в лечении незлокачественных заболеваний

Опыт применения ионизирующего излучения при незлокачественной патологии насчитывает уже более 100 лет. В начале и середине прошлого века лучевая терапия широко применялась при многих воспалительных, эндокринных, кожных, пролиферативных, дегенеративных заболеваниях. Успехи фармакологии и хирургии, а также распространяющаяся среди врачей и населения радиофобия сократили сферу применения метода. Однако растущая стоимость лекарственной терапии, осложнения, связанные с ее использованием, достижение пределов хирургических возможностей, делают целесообразным обращение к ретроспективному рассмотрению опыта использования ионизирующего излучения для лечения незлокачественных заболеваний и возможному его ребрендингу. В сравнении с существующими методами лечения при ряде заболеваний лучевая терапия обладает преимуществами в виде более высокой экономической и клинической эффективности, сравнительной простоты и доступности. Проведенный анализ имеющейся в литературе информации показывает, что при ряде кожных, пролиферативных, обменно-дистрофических,инфекционных заболеваний лучевая терапия может и должна применяться при надлежащем соблюдении показаний и противопоказаний.
