A Mathematical Model for the Comprehensive Assessment of Project Implementation Performance Considering Risks

Free access

The paper presents a mathematical model for the integral assessment of construction project efficiency, based on a multiplicative convolution of four key criteria: quality, schedule adherence, economic efficiency, and reliability. The model takes into account the specifics of the construction industry – its high level of risk and the inadmissibility of compensating for failures in one area by overperformance in another. A detailed system of indicators is proposed, including global project metrics, phased quality control, risk saturation assessment based on the FMEA methodology, and data normalization methods. The model is sensitive to the “weakest link” and can be adapted to the strategic priorities of a construction company.
