Medical and non-medical students' perceptions of the medical and pharmaceutical workers' image

In the context of psychological studies connected with interaction of human and environment, the matter of importance of health and health maintenance is becoming more and more topical. The international to the sphere of health and health protection is the interest to the future.

Significant changes in cultural, social, economical and political spheres in Russia have become the reason for appearance of new values in modern medicine. The level of requirement for medical workers personality and professional competence is growing [Матвеева, 2014], [ Эльяшевич, 2015].

Examining the level of medical workers image issue development, it is important to highlight the intensity of medical sphere researching. At the same time the problem of medical workers features on universities remains unstudied. According to the recent researches the emphasis is mostly concentrated on the ideal image of a doctor. For example, V.A. Tashlykov’s investigation (1984) has shown that instead of professional qualities of a doctor among these qualities most relevant are stimulating trustful relations between a doctor and a patient. These qualities are: interest, passion for work, attentiveness, patience, sympathy, kindness and the sense of humor [Ташлыков, 1984].

According to Tashiykov for most of the patients the ideal image of a doctor includes personal experience of cooperation with an important “Other” person from the past (mother, for example, or a colleague).
