Measures to create growth points in depressed regions

The existing differentiation of regions has contributed to the development of depressed territories, which include those territories where socio-economic indicators are lower than the national average. The key reason for the emergence of these territories is the lack of adaptation of the Russian economy to existing market conditions. To classify territories as depressive, there are a large number of methods, from which the method of asaubaev A. K. was considered, based on it, the classification of subjects of the Russian Federation was carried out, half of which belong to depressive territories. In conclusion, the article developed measures for forming growth points in depressed territories, including the creation of TOP and SEZs in these territories, ensuring the flow of investment to industrial regions in order to increase production, the development of regulated tourist and recreational facilities in these territories, and increasing funding for environmental measures.
