Place and role of social services sphere in satisfaction the demand of regional population

Social services sphere as branch of the regional market and factor of social and economic stability of the region is analysed in the article. Characteristics of market and non-market social services are given. On the basis of sociological researches, carried out in the largest cities of the Chuvashi Republic, the relation of population to the quality of social services is shown.
