Metaphorical image as a means of forming the linguocultural component of the meaning of paroemias (based on the material of the Russian and Czech languages)

This article analyzes Russian and Czech paroemias units reflecting ideas about happiness and unhappiness. Idiomatic expressions with the key images of “religious beliefs” and “natural phenomena” are considered. The relevance of the study of proverbs and sayings in the framework of linguoculturology and linguocognitology is substantiated.
