In the 10th century Byzantines believed that in the Roman Empire (both in the West and in the East) they live according to the same laws and believe in the same One God, who in Christ gave salvation to the whole world. Every nation that received baptism became part of this ecumenical space, and inherited the idea of the Gospel of salvation. So it was with the Russian people. This space, gradually disintegrating, on the one hand, preserved its Christian identity, and on the other, the emerging parts thought about the realization of their peculiarities. Comprehension of the Christian Revelation took place on the basis of the Hellenistic culture in the 3rd - 6th centuries, and in the 12th - 15th centuries, and in the 19th - early 20th centuries, especially in Russia. But understanding Hellenism inevitably leads to a variety of approaches and opinions: from pantheism to rationalism. However, the sensuality introduced by Hellenism into Christian culture did not completely destroy the intuition of spiritual beauty. For the poets of the “Silver Age” in Russia, we see both a confluence in rationalism, and sensuality, and an attempt to “recognize” the ideal Femininity. But many people often had an unconscious impression of their faith in the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God, by the grace of preserving Russia.
