The novel "Dondog" by A.Volodin (2002) with its metapoetic peculiarities and specific featrues of its context is under analysis. Special attention is paid to genre pragmatics of biography and its ironic denial, discrediting of the poetical world of the novel. It is concluded that post-ecsotic creative writing is possible not only in the form of the novel, but of the short story as well. The author consideres post-ecsotic creative writing as the only way to be free and to say the truth in the catastrophic world.
