The method of social learning as an instrument of students’ self-socialization in the socio-cultural environment of an institute of higher education

Researchers put forward different complexes of conditions determining the formation of students’ social maturity. They focus their attention on the optimization of teaching and the methods used by teachers to organize the process of socialization during which a person becomes socially mature. External management of socialization process has its limitations, while a student’s internal potential in self-organizing his/her own socialization and corresponding methods needs further studying. The article deals with the role of selfsocialization and university’s socio-cultural environment in the formation of students’ social maturity. It also presents the principles of learning from social environment, the stages and techniques of teaching students the method of social learning. The usage of which as the tool of self-socialization in university’s socio-cultural environment is considered to be a condition determining formation of their social maturity.
