The article deals with the methodological features of the use of the modern information technologies in teaching general and theoretical physics, electric and radio engineering. There are discussed the methodological issues of the development of the skills for the use of the methods of the mathematical physics, the skills of the combination of the analytical estimation and the computer modelling of the physical processes with the use of the mathematical packages.
