Today the concept of «personal development» is central to psychology-pedagogical studies. However, the wide variety of interpretations of this phenomenon has led to serious controversies and disputes. By showing keen interest in current issues of psychology, the author examines the concept of methodological paradigms of personality development and thereby determines their relationship.
