Methodological approaches to the preparation of a future physical education teacher for professional activity

The aim of the present article is to describe the specific work of a physical education teacher in a secondary school in teaching children motor skills. Research of the scientific literature on the chosen issue, the results of pedagogical practice and the analysis and synthesis of the findings are the basis of this study. It is emphasized that the specificity of preparation of the future teacher of physical culture to educate students in motor activities is determined by the need to take into account age-specific development of students, the task to provide students with sufficient daily volume of movements, to apply the technology of games, as they develop physical (speed, agility, endurance, coordination of movement) as well as moral and volitional qualities of students. As a conclusion, the main parameters that can determine the readiness of a future physical education teacher to teach pupils motor activities are formulated.
