This article presents methods of teaching artistic creativity that drawing teachers can apply in practice. The authors list and describe the methods of work in the visual arts, decorative and applied arts, and folk art. The importance of fine art in the formation of the basis for universal educational actions afterwards, the improvement of personal qualities, and the general development of the child is emphasized. In addition, the aspects of using the means of artistic creativity as educational tools, methods of establishing contact with a child, as well as the formation of various skills that can be useful both in learning and in daily activities are touched upon. The authors pay attention to various techniques of artistic creativity, including components of folk art, as well as to identify the main problems that may arise when teaching artistic creativity to this category of students. The publication updates the age-specific behavior of preschool children, which should be considered when conducting classes.
