International continental law: concept and types

Free access

The author claims that the process of global integration has been suspended and individual continents are becoming the centers of international relations. Within the framework of continental international universal organizations, international continental legal systems have been formed in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Continental legal systems are based on the law of continental universal organizations: the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, the African Union. There is no single continental legal system on the Asian continent, but there are three regional legal blocks within the CIS; the League of Arab States and the Association of Southeast Asian Countries.
