Migration processes in linguistic and didactic aspects. Review on the monograph "Migration linguistics in the contemporary academic paradigm: discursive practices, translation, didactics"

The article is a reflection on a collective monograph by Russian and foreign authors on the linguistic and didactic aspects of contemporary migration processes. The monograph deals with the global challenges of modernity which are reflected, among other things, in Russian reality. The Russian migration reality is the subject of legitimate research, since Russia today has all the characteristics of a modern migrant society. The researchers proceed from the assumption that the migration movement acts as a kind of "perpetual driver" of social and linguistic processes. Their conclusions are based on an analysis of the migration discourse of Russia and German-speaking countries. The focus is on the social adaptation of migrants and the specifics of interpretation in the administrative-social sphere.
