Teacher's mission in social-pedagogical problematic in Russia at the end of the XIX- the beginning of the XX centuries

The process of forming the valuable notions about the high social destiny of a Russian teacher is under study. The special attention is drawn to the issue of the role of a teacher and his social-educational mission which are regarded as the leading factors of genesis and of the educational reality development that guarantee the evolution of values, culture, society and education.
