Model of the Church in the Ecclesiology of Vladimir Lossky

The article presents a brief biography of V. N. Lossky, also examines his model of the Church, and assesses his influence on modern theology. In the field of ecclesiology, an overview of the Trinitarian, Christological and Pneumatological aspects of the Church is given. In Pneumatology, special attention is paid to the concept of the kenosis of the Holy Spirit introduced by V. N. Lossky. The hypostatic and natural aspects of the Church are also considered. According to the author, the concepts of polyhypostasis and unity in diversity used by V. N. Lossky to express the catholicity of the Church are fundamental and give rise to further research in the field of modern ecclesiology.
