The study substantiates the need to develop and use a model of profession-related physical qualities of students with sensory impairment which includes an integrated interaction of target, management, content-implementation, evaluation-assessment and criteria-result sections. The development level of profession-related physical qualities is assessed by motivational, active-based, evaluation criteria and their indices. Based on these criteria, the authors identify the high, optimal, and acceptable level of profession-related physical qualities of students with sensory impairment. The model under review makes it possible to improve the adapted physical educational process at a university. In particular, it allows one to increase motivation and conscientious attitude of students to training sessions in a special medical group, implement organizational and methodological, psychological and educational conditions of modules in physical education and sports, and assess the development level of profession-related physical qualities through tests considering the ICD code and the degree of students' impairment.
