A model of axiological migrant image research in Russian linguistic culture of the Northern Caucasus

The article presents a cognitive semantic model of axiological migrant image research in Russian linguistic culture of the Northern Caucasus. The authors five main steps in the scientific investigation covering the following aspects: definition of migration as a notion in modern society, the investigation of migration problems from the point of view of cross-cultural communication; construction of the present-day migrant image on the basis of Russian conceptual and linguistic consciousness in the Northern Caucasus, as well as discourse analysis of migrant image in publicistic context. Consequently the following aspects will be clear for the researchers: the terminological and notion set of words describing migration and its problems; social, cultural and linguistic hardships going along with migrants integration into the local community; ethnolinguistic regional peculiarity of cross-cultural communication.
