The article discusses the opportunities for using forms of distributed education in working with schoolchildren within the framework of the project “Teacher of the Arctic in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)”. External and internal factors in the development of the digital learning environment (DLE) as the main tool for modernizing education are analyzed. The main stages of integrating digital technologies into the educational process are formulated. The paper describes the experience of the college in using digital educational resources for providing remote participation of schoolchildren from hard-to-reach settlements of the republic in the learning process. A new format of network interaction between educational organizations in the digital educational space is presented. The value of the distributed education model described is that it can include organizations that potentially belong to the category of “partners” in terms of organizing educational work.
